April 2009: Ms. Weaver presented on a panel "Sandcastles Workshops: How to Help Children Cope With Divorce" at the statewide Collaborative Practice California conference. Co-panelists were Rev. Diane Rehfield, MFT and Sharon Baker, LCSW.

May, 2008: Ms. Weaver served as a Faculty Member of the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Family Law Training sponsored by Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association (www.lacfla.org).

May 2007: Ms. Weaver presented on a panel at the State Bar of California Twelfth Annual Statewide Ethics Symposium, "Professional Ethics in Family Law."

March, 2006: Recipient of the Collaborative Practice California Eureka Award, Collaborative Practice California (www.CPCal.com). 

February 4, 2006: "When You Can't Live With Them: Introduction to Collaborative Family Law" , sponsored by Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences Adult Education and co-sponsored by Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association (www.lacfla.com).

Child Custody Colloquium

September 2004: The Los Angeles County Bar Association's Child Custody Colloquium presentation, "Using the Collaborative Law Process for Child Custody Disputes". Other members of the panel were Mary Lund, Ph.D., Peter Walzer and Commissioner Mitchell A. Beckloff of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers

November 2004: Presentation "The Interdisciplinary Approach in Collaborative Law" at the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers ' national conference in Chicago , Illinois . Other panel members were Nancy Cameron, attorney from Vancouver, B.C. and member of International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Board of Directors, and Susan Gamache, Ph.D., also a member of International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Board of Directors from Vancouver, B.C.

Los Angeles County Bar Association

The Los Angeles County Bar Association Family Law Section sponsored the seminar "Introduction to Collaborative Law" at which Donna Beck Weaver presented in June, 2004. Other presenters were Mary Lund, Ph.D. of Lund & Strachan; David Kuroda, LCSW; Andrew Hunt, CPA of White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna, Wolf & Hunt; and Dvorah Markman, Esq. Hon. Aviva K. Bobb, then Supervising Family Law Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, delivered the introduction.

Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC)

"Collaborative Law" was the topic of a full day seminar on topics in Collaborative Law moderated by Donna Beck Weaver for the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Regional Conference in Los Angeles in February, 2004. Participating presenters were Anthony Aloia, Ph.D., Alice Oksman, Ph.D., David Kuroda, LCSW, Kim Davidson, Esq., Donna Beck Weaver, CFLS; Rob Rutman, Ph.D., Susan Schwartz, LCSW, Ron Supancic, CFLS, Ron Anfuso, CPA and Bruce Derman, Ph.D.
