What to bring with you? Any premarital agreement or divorce judgment.
What can you expect to discuss?
- You will be able to explain your situation, and your goals or hopes for the outcome. All discussions are confidential and protected by attorney-client privilege.
- Learn what California law provides for situations such as yours.
- Learn about process options for your situation and various approaches and related costs. For example, if there are areas that need to be negotiated, we will explore possibilities for using processes that encourage negotiations such as mediation and collaborative law. We will also review your litigation options, in case settlement doesn’t work. (Ms. Weaver does not accept engagement as litigation counsel.)
- Learn about support services that may be helpful, such as financial guidance or help with managing children’s adjustment.
